Ho Gaana Pokuna (The Singing Pond) is a Sri Lankan children's musical movie that was facing difficulties with its continuity and projected success. Our team was tasked with developing a social media campaign to generate interest in the film and increase its chances of success.
To execute the campaign, our team decided to showcase the unique and exciting scenes from the film through social media platforms. We strategically targeted social media personalities to share the content and make it go viral. By doing so, we created a buzz about the movie in the social media community, and it became a topic of interest across various media channels.

The movie completed 100 days, went on to reach 147 days, and became a huge box office success in Sri Lankan cinema. It also won the Highest Grossing Movie Award at the 4th Derana Sunsilk Film Festival and was awarded in Hiru Golden Film Awards 2016 under the categories of The Best Picture and The Most Popular Song. Our campaign successfully leveraged the power of social media to promote a film and generate significant results.
